Newsworthy Events that can affect the Commodity markets

Maybe last week didn’t answer any questions at all and instead posed more. Hopefully this week’s slew of reports can help the process. On Friday evening, Fed Chair Powell reemphasized the Fed’s patient approach and how their balance sheet could reach the “new normal” in the fourth quarter. We get a heavy dose of Powell over the next 24 hours as he will be featured on CBS’s 60 Minutes tonight and holds a speech again Monday evening. After Powell, here are the ten most crucial events this week in order of delivery:
1. German Industrial Production Monday at 2:00 am CT
2. U.S Retail Sales from January Monday at 7:30 am CT
3. U.K GDP and Manufacturing Production Tuesday at 4:30 am CT
4. U.S CPI Tuesday at 7:30 am CT
5. U.K Parliamentary Vote on Brexit
6. U.S Durable Goods Wednesday at 7:30 am CT
7. Chinese Industrial Production, Fixed Asset Investment and Retail Sales Wednesday at 9:00 pm CT
8. Bank of Japan policy meeting Thursday at 10:00 pm CT
9. Final February Eurozone CPI Friday at 5:00 am CT
10. February U.S Industrial Production and March NY Empire Manufacturing Friday at 7:30 am CT and March Michigan Consumer data at 9:00 am CT
